Blackfriars Road
Blackfriars Road - just across the River Thames in London has long been a backwater - surprising considering its location is so very central.
Our client runs the pub and restaurant. Optimising the mixed-use nature of the site they proposed conversion of the site to provide a new larger pub with nine flats above. The difficult site - north facing - was overcome with tight spatial control, discreetly located balconies to the west and the limited south façade.
The design is a timeless and stripped classical.
