Our towns and villages are constantly under threat from developments that direct activities to out-of-town shopping centres, ruin markets by encircling them with roads and car parks, and isolate communities.
MJA recognises that we all have a duty to keep an eye on local planning developments, engage with our communities, and question and support civic activity to play our part in shaping the world around us. Practice members are encouraged to join civic societies, amenity groups and organisations that further public understanding of conservation and actively encourage community action.
