If a site is to function successfully, it often demands custom furniture design. We offer a design and manufacturing service where this is appropriate.
Our employer wanted a suite of open-plan rooms, but the available space was restricted by another intersecting flat. We turned this negative into a positive by emphasising the ‘S’ curve in the stair and kitchen to open up the flow of space from this back room to the front reception rooms. The kitchen top, partly acting as a breakfast bar and with views along Ledbury Road, is a continuous slab of terrazzo. The extractor housing, inevitably an awkward size, is painted as a blackboard box.
