Architects use drawings to working out geometry or construction; to communicate with clients and builders; or simply to display their facility. In this section are some drawings chosen particularly for their range and character.
A high proportion of our drawings today are computerised. Ingress Park Listed Walls, below is an example
This drawing is an unusual combination of a plan and elevation with an intermediate perspective. It combines precise information with a rendering of the sense of how the building will feel. Unavoidably, this shop has steps up to the entrance and the function of the illustration was to show how we tackled the problem of entrance from the street. In our detailed proposal, the shop window display was thinned down, and the back of the shop brightly lit to make it easier for customers to enter.
