This room in Lamb’s Conduit Street was once our office. The fireback was the original brick-lined bow shape, and Murray designed and built the surround from salvaged egg and dart moulding, marble and painted softwood. The low mirrored panel (which would originally have been in three parts) would have reflected candlelight to improve illumination in the room. The warm grey emulates stone.
